50 large scale koala sculptures dot the landscape from the mountains to the sea to create the Hello Koalas Public Art Sculpture Trail.

Celebrating one of Australia’s iconic animals – the koala – and the outstanding work of the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital – the first facility in the world solely dedicated to care and conserve the koala, based in Port Macquarie.

The koala sculptures are made of fibreglass, hand painted and decorated by celebrity artists, professional artists and community groups.

So don’t be surprised if you come across one of the creatively decorated koalas resting in parkland, lazing by the beach, waiting outside the shops, or playing with school kids.
